Photoshop Elements 7
Item is exactly what I expected. It helps me design digital scrapbook kits and edit my photos as well.

Bargain!
My Elements 5 wouldn't read Nikon Raw (NEF) files. I bought Elements 8 as a replacement, but it wouldn't open properly on my computer. I returned it a got Elements 7 for less than $40.00 including shipping. I ordered late Wednesday evening, it arrived the following Saturday. It's just a disk with no paperwork or instructions. If you need help your local library will have several instruction books available.

Orginal Software, boxes in very poor condition, not stated in ad
The program runs fine. There was no mention of the poor condition for the box. The paper outer packing was badly smashed up didn't affect the project. But the interior plastic DVD case was severally crack. I knew I was taking a risk - but not this big of one. I wouldn't recommend this seller unless the descriptions can be verifed to be accurate.

One of my go-to applications
I use several photo editing software packages, as different ones do different things, some better some worse, depending on the task at hand. Adobe PhotoShop Elements has always done a really good job with red-eye adjustments. I've been using several versions of PSE through upgrades, and I think it is very powerful for a non-pro package. Probably my biggest gripe is that Adobe chose to create their own desktop gui, and they don't really give PSE the look and feel of a standard Windows application. I can understand why they did that, I'm sure they wanted the look and feel of their app to be consistent, no matter the version of Windows, and no matter the display themes the end user applies. So a personal taste thing, I guess, but I would have preferred less of a proprietary feel to it. Another issue is the nagging for you to sign up for their services, which they link into the application. I would prefer a way to just turn off that stuff. Anyway, those couple of pet peeves are the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. PSE actually is a very competent photo editor with lots of features to correct photos, enhance, or create special visual effects. Lots of fun stuff to play with, a good application overall.
