Buy Hardcover!
I was quite disappointed in this 'book'. Being soft cover, it is more like a pamplet than a book. I would never buy a soft cover again for a child. The two dollars you save is not worth the lower quality. Also the content is so wildly colorful and all over the pages, as another reviewer stated, 'comic format'; that it would be very difficult for a child to follow or read along. I felt it was not a good value for the money, not many pages, not a good lay out and very lacking in content.

a bit disappointing
This wasnt what I hoped for- this book is set up like the old sesame street books- in comic book format. I hoped this would address issues kids have with the first day of school (my daughter is 3 and will start school soon)- but it really does not. My daughter has me read the book a couple of times but since then hasnt asked for it again. Not up to par with other sesame workshop products.
