Fisher-Price Healthy Care Booster Seat - Blue Editorial Review:
The Healthy Care Booster Seat has a feeding tray you can sanitize right in the dishwasher. With the snap-on lid in place, the tray will stay clean until you're ready to use it. So you can take it wherever you go (it folds compactly) and always be sure that your baby is eating from a dishwasher-clean tray. Three height adjustments allow for a custom fit to any table. Front and rear seat straps adjust to fit virtually any chair and three-point harness adjusts to hold your growing child securely. Folds compactly for portability, with a carry strap so you can take it anywhere. (Weight limit: 45 pounds).
Customer Reviews:
Great Portable Practical Booster Seat
Due to limited space and my demands for a easy-to-clean practical chair, we purchased this item verses purchasing a high chair. We were looking at the Svan High Chair. Wow, we saved ourselves some money, and space! Who would have thought FP could design such a practical chair. It is easy to clean. Great to take on trips such as to visit the grandparents and to go to restaurants. I love the idea that is strapped to one of our chairs so its not an additional piece of furniture. Our son feels like he's eating like us verses in a different chair. When we are not using it, it is hidden on our furniture. Initially, I was not too keen in purchasing it, because it is plastic. However (crossing fingers) there have not been any recalls. Members of our extended family purchased it, too. We are now expecting twins so we will be purchasing additional chairs. Thanks FP.
She loves it!
My daughter has adapted well to this and it blends in quite well with my furniture.
Yellow & Orange vs. Blue & Green
What's the difference between this Fisher Price Yellow & Orange booster seat versus the Blue & Green one? Fisher-Price Healthy Care Booster Seat - Blue
As you can see from the pictures (but not from the product description), this less expensive Yellow and Orange version does not have the following two features:
1. an extra adjustable base to raise/lower the seat; and
2. the tray insert and cover.
We have both this Yellow/Orange one and the Blue/Green one and find that the extra features are not really necessary. Our kid actually uses the tray insert and cover as a toy.
For a 10 month old, we have the adjustable base at the highest setting on the Blue/Green one. With no additional base, she sits lower on the Yellow/Orange one, but we don't really find it to be an issue.
Otherwise, like others, we really like this product. Better than a highchair in my opinion, because you can easily wash the whole thing down when needed. And good to take to restaurants too.
This seat is great!!!!
My son loves this seat! He will carry it from room to room so he can have a seat. I love the fact that there are no crevices for crumbs to get stuck in. Wipes off easily, no sharp edges, dishwasher safe, space saving, easy to secure, very portable, great all around! I highly recommend this seat! This is the perfect color- even though it features red, the tones are muted, more neutral. No bright colors, so it dosen't stand out.
Excellent for Grandma's House
Inexpensive and compact compared to full sized high chair, with added bonus it easily transports. We already have two blue booster seats in the family ... I like the orange and only need ONE tray, so priced a bit cheaper. Quite safe, seat belt secure, easily cleans and stores for visiting grandchildren.
