    Customer Reviews:
    Great Product
This BPA free (like all Born Free products) bottle set works really well for our newborn. He doesn't seem to swallow air while using this. No leaks and we like it a lot. More importantly our baby seems to like it. At least he hasn't told us otherwise.

Leaks like crazy and annoying extra pieces
These bottles, which are obviously selling well because of the Bisphenol-A issues, leak like crazy. All you have to do is tip the bottle sideways and the milk comes gushing out like crazy. Makes a huge and annoying sticky mess. My advice, if you must absolutely have these, is to use the Avent nipples on these bottles. They fit and they don't leak at all, even upside-down. The silicone nipple is not implicated in the Bisphenol problems. The Born Free bottles also have a silicone gasket and a plastic insert, making cleaning and filling the bottles very frustrating and unnecessarily complex. I am hoping someone else comes up with a better BSA-free bottle because these are just not working for me.

Really good baby bottles and training cups
I think these bottles are excellent. I initially purchased all Dr. Brown baby bottles before the BPA news came out. And was afraid to switch my daughter to BornFree bottles, since she was doing fine with Dr. Brown's, but switch was easy. My daughter switched right away, without any problems. I feel much better as a parent using BPA free bottles. Now that she is older she is using the BornFree training cups and she is loving it.
I plan on using BornFree bottles and training cups with my son.

    Worry-free Bottles!
These bottles are a great replacement for the supposedly "toxic" Avent bottles my son used for 8 months. They're easy to clean, easy to hold, and environmentally friendly.

Great bottles once you're used to them
When I first tried these out I had my doubts that they would work out okay (I had been using Avent and have used Dr Brown in the past). They take a little more time to put together than the Avent and babies don't like to wait when they're hungry! However once I got a system down (I put the two vent pieces together and the nipple/collar/cap together in advance and store them in separate bins where I prepare the bottles) I came to really like them. I instantly got less burps than with the Avent and the Dr Brown and they don't leak like the Avent.

They've gone through the drop test onto a hardwood floor just fine and they quickly passed the most important test: my son took to them right away.

One warning: I tried out the "6 month+ Y Flow" nipples but my son vetoed them instantly. I unwisely had bought a number of nipples which (for now) he won't use. I get a little use out them with my two year old who takes the occasional bottle.

Other than that I'm sold - a better bottle than what I had been using (minus a little ramp time getting used to them) and of course they are BPA free.
